ILMU

ILMU is the third and last film in our Karelian film trilogy. Its theme is Karelian mythology and ritualism related to birth. The film has been written during the spring and summer of 2022, and filming started in September. Post-production, such as music composition, music recording, editing and sound design will take place during the spring and summer of 2023. The film will premiere at the  Finno-Ugric Capital of Culture program in Kuhmo and at the Maunula Culture Centre in Helsinki in November 2023. The third premiere will take place in Outokumpu in North Karelia at the beginning of December 2023.
